Well I entered another contest by the incredible, Julie Kagawa, this time it's to get my manuscript critiqued by one of her characters. I'm not sure if I'll win, because of the random choosing factor. But I would love to get someone who doesn't know me to critique my work. :)

So it has thus been entered. She's gonna pick the winner on Christmas Eve and send them an email. :DDD But my manuscript isn't finished yet, it's just kind hangin' out there. ^__^" My new writing goal is to have it finished by Christmas Eve, because then she'll have a complete manuscript to read. ;) I mean, if I win. Just probabilities here.

Still it was lovely and thoughtful of her to make it a contest. <3 My story took off rather well with the much help from the wonderful NaNoWriMo month, despite my over-a-month-long slump I'm in.

Wish me luck!

Thanksgiving Week

Hey guys!

Here's hoping you're all enjoying your Thanksgiving break, or if you don't have Thanksgiving break, then your day off for Black Friday. If you took one. If not, hopefully you like your job... or school...

Hopefully you all enjoyed Thanksgiving yesterday, for my American friends. I'm spending Black Friday with my cousin Nick, eating candy, drinking enamel dissolving pop and other such fun things. :D With any luck we'll stay up late and have a good time.

I got some long sleeved shirts, some hoodies, sweatshirts, got a little caught up on my word count, wrote a very sentimental goodbye to one of my characters. Ate good food. All over it's been a rather productive week. I'm not sure what I'll be doing tomorrow but I'm sure it'll be anti helpful towards my writing.

If you're doing NaNoWriMo, I wish you guys the best, hoping that you're doing better than I am... ^^"

I'm uncertain as to whether or not I want to cut my hair or let it grow out longer... I'll have to decide later.

I might let it grow out until the end of my second trimester at school... Then see how long it is. :D Although, I need to have my bangs cut, they're very annoying. I can't do anything with them.

My exams went well, I didn't fail beyond repair and am gladly on my way to second tri. With any luck I won't fail geometry. Yay!

Enjoy your break/job

Exam Study Thing

I figured I would type up a quick update, considering I've got nothing better going on. I mean. I'm supposed to be studying for my exams, I ate their free pizza and drank their free pop... but I totally forgot to bring anything to study from soo, my loss there.

I am actually surprisingly bored. Even my mother won't respond to my texts. In the meantime I'm sipping daintily upon my can of Mountain Dew and groaning at the thought of exams on Monday.

If you're on the same kind of schedule as me and have exams coming up, then I wish you luck. If you aren't however on a trimester schedule I hope you had a good weekend. I know I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving breakk to catch up on my NaNo book.

Love!

Meghan, my dearest, we are meant to be friends, despite the differences that are us!

YouTube says so! In the suggestions list, just under Billy Currington - Walk A Little Straighter Daddy was Emilie Autumn - Juliet. :D Think of the implications! Finally! x3

The Iron Fey

I'm so pleased! In two days I have successfully completed what exists in the Iron Fey Series. I have the Iron King, Daughter, Queen, Knight, the Iron's Prophecy and The Lost Prince. I could explode.

This is not to mention the fact that I have made nice with my semi-friend from my middle school, Sarah. Become better friends with Lauren, and my friend making with the other kids in my classes is going well. Gym class will be over before thanksgiving and ballet class is lovely.

As it happens, this is the eighth day of NaNoWriMo and I have written upwards of 187 words, only. O.O I'm in trouble. Anyways. I've decided to work on my story in school and upload it to my computer as I go along. I'm really hoping to finish Inside Out this November. That would be freaking wicked. Of course, we can only ask so much of the Writing and Creativity Wizards. What with school and the hecticness that comes with an ending trimester, I'll be surprised if I can get anything in around exams.

I shall prevail!!! Sigh. Life is good. I collaborated with Graci and we bought my mother five different votive candles (the small ones) for her birthday. Graci got a pair of black skinny jeans and some earrings and I got the Iron's Prophecy. I'm pleased. It was a good week.

I'm off to update my word count. I'll try to check back in later ;)

To The Pit of My Garbage With You, Growth!! >:D

HaHA! I have just successfully removed a cancerous tumor from my vitamin water! :D

Note to self: Do not let vitamin water sit unattended for two weeks.

Ambulance

I figured I'd better document today. I didn't want to forget it. It was one of those moments where you look around and you say, "Wow, this is huge." and then you get home and forget all about it.

When we were in P.E. class today my partner looked behind me and saw that a boy was lying on the ground. His name is Ethan. This is the second time this trimester that he has been hit by something and fallen to the ground. The last time we were playing soccer and they had to bring a car down to the field to bring him back in because he wasn't allowed to walk back up. (He'd been hit in the head). But the biggest thing is that he already has a ton of medical issues and has previously had fainting spells and death scares.

So, when he fell today in the gymnasium they brought down the Nurse lady and a wheel chair and wheeled him back to the front office. Then, during lunch (the very next period) Lauren and I are sitting and looking out the door window and we see two police officer/sheriffs walk in, and we're all, "Dude, what's goin' on?" So we keep watching. And then we see two paramedics walk in. And I'm all, "Man, this cannot be good." So, we keep watching. I hear and see a fire engine pull into our school drive way and two firemen come into the school. I'm like: **eyebrow raise?** And they all disappear into the front office. I'm like, "You can't call in the ambulances, fire department, and police station and just not tell us what's going on. So the paramedics head back out, the fire engine leaves, or disappears, I'm still not sure. And they come back with a stretcher and we're all O_O "GURNEY." And they wheel it into the front office.

When the thing comes back out they have Ethan laying on it all, "Sigh... this is going to be embarrassing tomorrow..." So, as to be expected, we were all like: **LE GASP** Ethan. o.o And then we tried to be kind to him and go back to our nomming. That only lasted like three seconds though because then Sarah came up and was like: O.O Is that Ethan? He's Harley's best friend! They're super close! She's going to be so upset!

We were like: Oh, noh. And then lunch ended. It was all very dramatic. **nod nod**

Just thought I'd spice your day up a little bit. ;) Love

Friends

I am officially not looking forward to Monday.

I have just gotten back from spending all afternoon with my friends Paul, Dudley, Rachel, Thomas, and Susan and I will be, quite possibly, the most lonely person in the school. I might even cry.

My friends are so amazing. I had no idea that I missed them so much. No one walks with me to classes. No one talks to me during class. Sigh. There's nothing to distract from those that are trying to teach me and it's torture. How am I going to survive?

Just this Friday I was the outcast at a table of outcasts. How does that even work?! Either way I was lonely, I did not talk very much. My friends all go to the same school and it's not my school. Paul's house continues to amaze me and now he has a cat. Sigh. What I wouldn't give to have a cat and a nice big farmhouse on EIGHT acres. EIGHT. That's a lot.

My day was uncharacteristically busy. I woke up, helped to rip shingles off of a friend's house and move the dropped shingles to a large dumpster. Then I came home and took a shower to get rid of the accumulated dirt and then almost immediately after my mother sister and I were setting out to the abortion clinic to pray for an hour for 40 Days for Life. Then I met Paul, Dudley, Rachel, and Thomas at the Calder and we walked around a bit, Paul bought some cinnamon and sugar roasted almonds which he shared with the group. We went up as high as we could on the Ellis parking building and looked out over the roads and cars. Then Paul's mom picked the five of us up and took us back to Paul's house where Susan met us and we got pizza from Vitale's and we ate pizza and cookies and then we went to see all the animals they have, goats, chickens, rabbits, etc. Then we went out to their forest acres and gathered a ton of firewood for a bonfire later. After we'd put everything in a great big pile we played forest tag, which includes a ridiculous amount of tripping, stumbling, and screaming.

When we got tired of that we brought all the stuff back and jumped on their huge trampoline. Six people, one trampoline, a lot of people fell down. And of course jumping on the trampoline is just no fun unless somebody gets hurt, so pretty much all of us got kicked or stepped on in some way... some of us more than others.

It started to get dark and Paul was put on bonfire duty so he went to get some stuff and let Susan and Thomas spray the lighter fluid on the wood. Of course, we played with the fire a bit. ^^" Then we had s'mores that Susan's mom had brought. She brought like two S'mores making kits. Crackers, chocolate, marshmallows. You know the drill.

It was an absolutely spectacular and mind-boggling day and I am so pleased I could cry. Maybe, if I'm lucky, by the end of the school year I'll have made enough friends that I don't feel lonely anymore!!

Reaching out to all of you who are having trouble finding new friends, or who are having friend issues with people you already are acquainted with. <3 Love!

Elephants and A Sphinx Nightlight

I am just a horrible person.

How could I do this to you guys?

I totally didn't even tell you and you should've been the first to know that I have indeed finished writing Elephants & A Sphinx Nightlight and am going to start typing it up and revising it.

I just cannot believe that I forgot to mention it! What's wrong with me? So! I decided to make a short little update telling about it.

I need to rewrite the main character's relationship with her mother and make the sub-main character a little more evil.... I also need to add some more background, a little more character development, show a little more emotion. But other than that, it is finished. x3 I'm so happy about it!

Hoping you guys are enjoying the second day of fall.

Love! <33

NaNoWriMo

I know National November Writing Month is still like, a month and a half away, but I've never done it before and I've decided to do it this time around. I'm probably going to die. It's alright. I accept it.

My stupidity has decided that it can write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. So my sanity decided to try it. My sanity likes to make fun of my stupidity sometimes... anyways! I'm not sure what novel I'm actually going to use but probably Inside Out, I know I've already started it, but whatever, maybe I'll just run in circles like a chicken with my head cut off, screaming, "NANOWRIMO IS FOREIGN TORTURE!! FOREIGN BUTT TORTURE RAAAAAAAAAAGH." But it's okay. I'll be fine. I'm looking forward to it. I might even get Meghan and Caity to join me. Which will probably drive them mad too. :D Yay me! Enforcing insanity upon my loved ones!! ^^

Dance Class

I had my first dance class at Reverence Dance yesterday and it was awesome. I loved it. My instructor is great, I'm in class with only one other person, and my legs didn't hurt after the hour long session. :D

That was superb news because I've wanted to dance for a really long time and I'd wanted to do soccer for a really long time. Soccer was awful to me, so I'm ecstatic that I'm enjoying dance.

My second week of school isn't awful, it's, you know, school. However! Meghan's little sister Erin is having her twelfth (and golden) birthday party this weekend so Graci and I are going to go over and keep Meghan company. Hopefully Graci will hang out with Erin though... That would be nice cuz then at least one of us would be there for the one who we were, uh, supposed to be there for... ^^"

I might invite my lunch buddy, Lauren over the weekend after this, I'll have to see, we're supposed to be helping move my mom's friend, Trish, into her new house and then we'll have lasagna but I wanted to invite over Meghan and Caity... so perhaps I'll just invite them over and we'll help them move in and then we will all nom upon lasagna together like a big happy family group thingie. Like we do. <3

I'm surprisingly in love with the song Blown Away by Carrie Underwood. I'm usually not so attracted to songs but I just obsess over it. O.O

We did campaign posters today in World Studies for Roman emperors, I did Claudius because everyone did Augustus, otherwise, I would have done him, because he really is the best candidate... Anyways, my poster looks pretty good, I did a picture of Claudius and three Roman dudes with their hands up, either voting or asking questions or whatever, and then I did some positiveness for him. My slogan was "Finally One Who Thinks of the People!" Pretty cool right? And tomorrow we're going to do an election. So. Yeah.

I have to go now because I have English homework and I need to write down some songs from the 50's for my ProDeFab teacher... (Product Design and Fabrication)

Asylums for the Insane

So, Meghan has this research paper due, but she also has a problem: She has no internet. So she can't do any research at home.

She decided to do her paper on Insane Asylums, you know the kind of torture they used to put those people through because they didn't believe that they could feel like normal people. I decided that I would help by researching it and then emailing her the links so that she could read up on what I thought was important and use that to help her. Because she has a computer class with complete internet access. Which is helpful.

My first week of school was just peachy.

I didn't meet anybody the first day, the second day people started to talk to me and I met a lunch buddy whose name is Lauren, the third day I sat with Lauren and my old friend from third grade, Julia. The fourth day I sat with Lauren again and she told me how she likes to draw comics.

My classes are going well and I am getting continuously better at opening my locker! :D Wood shop hasn't truly started yet it's still just introduction stuff and gore stories, but we're going to be making Adirondack chairs. English is weird, World Studies is fun, Earth Science makes my head want to explode and Phys. Ed. is trying to give me Popliteal Tendonitis.

All in all, school is school. I have to get up early, make my lunch, answer questions, introduce myself to people, find clothes to wear, and make friends. Hopefully you're week was awesome and not nearly as uncomfortable or chaotic as mine.

Love always.

First Day

Hey there!

Well, I had my very first day at school today. I got lost, lost my schedule, locker combination, couldn't find the gymnasium, introduced myself to a few people, ate lunch by myself, and made it to all my classes.

All in all, it wasn't a horrible day. It was hot and stuffy, and my school has no air conditioning, BUT I made it. The teachers mainly lectured us about the school year and I mainly sat and listened. I took account of some of the kids, how much distance there is between desks and chairs and other such things.

I hope that you guys also had wonderful days. Or at the very least not horrid days. :D

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better, less confusing day and I'll start to make some friends.
I don't have any friends because it's one of the schools where everybody went to school together and therefore know each other. Either way I need to figure out how to work my locker combination and I badly need to get myself an agenda.

On the upside, I've been experimenting with new and very diversified names for Dragonfly Thoughts. That's really the only thing I'm experimenting with. >.<"

My room is almost finished and I might be able to move in in two or so days. **And there was much rejoicing!!** Graci is really trying to push me out of our shared room, and it's pretty messy so I agree.

Here's hoping for a good year!!

That's what makes people twins?

Mom: Twins are when two babies are in the womb together.
Graci: That's what makes people twins? I thought people were twins because they were born on the same day!

EVERYONE BUT GRACI LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY

Mom: We may need to take the black out of your hair.
Graci: That has nothing to do with it! *just got black streaks in her blonde hair*
Me: We don't want to false advertise... }:D

**More hysterical laughter at Graci's expense**

Gosh, I just love my family. Love to you Graci!! <3

Dragonfly Thoughts

Haven't updated in awhile...Although it's still August...

School will be starting soon and I still don't have any supplies, but I'm actually not all that worried about it. My room isn't finished yet either, but it's getting closer, we've primed it though so it's ready for the good paint. I'm hoping that my room will have a patchwork kind of feel to it... I've always been rather fond of patchwork... So my mom is going to do some argyle art on the sides of my book shelf and swirls on the vent in my ceiling and my best friend Meghan and I are going  to do vertical stripes on my dresser... I hope. My mom's going to get me a nice wicker trash basket for my room.

We're still hoping we'll have me moved in before school starts but only time will tell.

I've been watching squirrels a lot lately. How they move, climb trees, eat nuts, the way they look like little waves when they run. It's very fascinating. I might have to put my observations in a book. Maybe the one about the Dragonflies that I also have swimming around in the back of my head. Dragonfly Thoughts. Pretty cool right? I suppose it sounds a bit more poem like when actually written down as opposed to how it sounds in my mind. Oh well.

I read Emily the Strange and found it oddly compelling.. Makes me want to go and build a golum of my own... It'd be very resourceful. Although more than anything it makes me wish that I knew more. So now I'm reading the Dangerous Angels series by Francesca Lia Block. Pretty good, interesting names. Weird story plots and usually centered around movies that My Secret Agent Lover Man is creating. Although I do love it and her descriptions are unusually poetic. Almost finished with that though and soon to start Sunshine, then it's back to the library with me...

Hope you're all doing well and enjoying your last week of summer/ first week of school.

Dalmation Feet...

I just finished dyeing my best friend, Meghan's, hair. It was... messy, and black and my feet feel like Dalmatians. But, her hair looks awesome and I kept the face splattering to a minimum! Yay me! So her picture day tomorrow will hopefully go well. I have my orientation/picture day on the 23rd. I'm anxiously awaiting. I think I've chosen my outfit but you can never be too sure.

This will be the first year since.... second grade? That I'm actually doing something with my hair. It's not much, but it's something. And hopefully my face won't look like it has a tumor on it. Which happens. Phoo. But I don't know their photographer, maybe I will. I don't truly know. Darn me.

My mom said we're going to get pictures this year and I hope she means it, otherwise I'm going to have to use my student ID in my "collage" of pictures. I don't have many. Luckily for Graci, she does have a lot of pictures, her graduation collage is going to look awesome. You know, when she graduates. Yeah...

We're still waiting for Dad to finish mudding the drywall downstairs so that we can prime it, paint it, and I can move in. They want me to move in before school starts so that I can move all my stuff in without a bunch of people trying to go places and do things. Moving from one end of the house to the other is actually relatively difficult. Specifically when you have to go down stairs... But then, THEN the room shall be MINE! Mwahahahahah~! Ahem. Right, sorry.

Well, goodnight and good luck in your endeavors.

Little bit of everything Update

Well, school is almost upon us and we're getting ready. My mother and I went school clothes shopping because this is the first time my sister and I will be going to a public school. Graci, my sister, of course, has plenty of clothes already but is also sure to get more.

I'm supposed to be moving downstairs soon to the room that we just re-dry-walled. And am actually looking forward to it. When I get down there I'll have a huge dresser, all for me. And that's good, considering all the clothes I just bought. It'll be the first time since Graci was born that I'll have my own room. I'm taking all the big stuff into the little room... The dresser, bookshelf, a bed, the desk. So, it'll probably be crowded...

I'm saving up money to buy a tablet PC, you know the ones with the screen that flips around and you can write on it with a little pen? Because I would really like to have one. Dad's bringing the computer down and I'm probably going to take the speakers too. Because they're mine. And I like them. Anyways.

Graci's keeping her bed, the T.V. and the computer as well as the wireless mouse and keyboard. Sigh, a loss on my part. Oh, and she's keeping the guinea pigs. She wants to get rid of them, but I like having them around, even if we don't play with them anymore. They're kind of like a safety net for me. Yeah... I should probably get a bigger safety net...

I got this amazing new bracelet when we went up to the cottage last time. It's like a charm bracelet with the big links and everything, but what you hook onto it are these little metal hoops with dreams written on them, you know, Peace, Imagine, Freedom, Inspire. Stuff like that. Mom says that every time we go up  I can get a new charm and we're heading up again Labor Day weekend. :D I'm going to get Inspire this time. I already have Imagine and Freedom.

My school doesn't give the supply list out until after school starts, so we can't go supply shopping yet. Phoo.  I want to get some nice gel pens for this year... If I can't I'll just have to use the cheap ones I bought from Dollar General last year.

OH! And I went to this little bookstore down the street from my house called the Book Corral. Oh, it's so cute! It's little and books are stacked on every shelf everywhere. I was so excited when I saw that she had the Harry Potter series! Well... six of the seven... and she didn't have the sixth... But that's okay! Because I already have the sixth!! :D So I figure I'll have to go back there for birthday presents and whatnot because she also had Janet Evanovich, and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. So.

Well, I've officially blabbered on about everything that's going on now. Just an update. ;) Catch ya later.

Why I Love Grimalkin From the Iron Fey Series

He is a cat.

That alone should be enough, but, because for some it isn't, I will go on.

He irrevocably confirms my and ancient Egyptians' belief that cats are superior to humans and fey alike, specifically in the knowledge department. He adds a surreal Alice in Wonderland element to the novels, what with his backwards guidance and disappearances. He's very witty and I always find myself attracted to the more clever characters that can make me laugh out loud.

Not to mention that he speaks so articulately. Like, politely, but making fun of you with every word he says. Almost old-fashioned, but not quite. He's constantly skirting the main characters around dangers and sometimes leading them right into dangers. His sneeze is the feline form of a laugh. And, let's face it, where would Meghan, Ash, and Puck be without him?

He knows where most of the trods are in the Nevernever and the mortal realm, his "random" disappearances foretell trouble, he's everyone's friend and everyone's enemy, and he does all of this for his own amusement.

To sum it up, he is a cat.

Elephants & A Sphinx Nightlight

I've been writing this book for two years now and I'm almost done. :D I have two more [planned] chapters and then it's finished! Then of course I need to go through all that revising crap and make it actually worth reading.. Ugh. I hate revising.

Anyway, I'm just really, really excited about it. It's titled Elephants & A Sphinx Nightlight and the main character is a sixteen year old girl named Ess. She's half wood sprite along with her brother and their grandfather just so happens to be one of the presiding rulers over Aquanog, a mystical planet inhabited by water nymphs, wood sprites, fire elves, and wind faeries, as well as a number of fantastical, yet deadly, creatures.

I've decided on the ending and now I just need to, somehow, figure out how to get there. I''m not very good at battle scenes, but that will show up at some point. I am really excited.  I really want to get it published.. but I'm not sure if this is going to be the one that I want published. I'm writing a few, ahem, 22, other books/stories. So I guess I should say I want to get a book published. I'd like to be an official author. ^^

Joy is a wonderful thing.

Well, my week is going AMAZINGLY well. I am highly inspired to write or draw or do something creative with my hands, I just finished the Iron Knight and almost died with joy, the store down the street is finally restocking my favorite Jones soda again, and I spent Tuesday at the mall with my friends. I am so happy right now I could easily explode butterflies and rainbows. Not to mention the fact that I just realized that Julie Kagawa's blog, you know the author of the Iron fey series, her blog is on blogspot.com. I could die.

I am also nerve-wrackingly awaiting the arrival of Iron Prophecy, Iron Legends, and the Lost Prince, the next books in the Iron Fey series, which are driving me pleasantly mad with anticipation.

However, all of these wonderful things must wait. I'm afraid that I must study for the next couple of weeks because I want to test out of Earth Science more than I've ever wanted anything. Because Earth Science is worse than watching grass grow or paint dry... it's watching rocks form. That, is horrid.

So, I will say adieu as, I should eat and then go to bed because I will most definitely have a long day ahead of me tomorrow. Stupid, dull, annoying, studying.

I just wanted to drop in and update, considering that it's one thing I'm horrible at... because I haven't done it in awhile. I'll try to update once every month though... twice if I can remember... >.< That's such a pathetic thing to say... Either way, goodnight!

They tried... to eat me.

I had a dream awhile back... It was one of the weirdest/creepiest dreams I've ever had. It wasn't scary per se, but it was creepy.
I was watching it, as though from a television screen, but I was also in it, but as a different person. I have brown hair and green eyes, but the person that I was in this dream had blue eyes and blonde hair.

I/she was chained to a bed by handcuffs, it was a head board with bars. So I was there and there was this guy. Pretty cute, brown hair, shortish, brown eyes. Athletic build. He was a caretaker because these monsters that HUGELY resembled the mucinex guys from the Mucinex commercial had mistaken him for a girl when he was a baby and kidnapped him, planning to eat him as they had planned for me/her. So instead of eating him they kept him around because they only eat girls. Pretty young girls.

Now I'm/she's laying on this bed, bored out of my/her ever-lovin' mind when this boy comes in again, with food. He starts to feed me/her the food, because I/she obviously can't do it myself/herself. And then he starts whispering frantically in my/her ear. He has an escape plan.

Just as we/they are about to put the plan in action the lead Monster comes into the room, which was on the third floor of an old abandoned apartment. He realizes what we/they were planning and starts shouting orders, so this guy pushes him out the window! And the Leader starts screaming even louder! He's gathering all his disgusting army! I'm/she's freaking out now but not nearly as much as this guy. Can't be older than 16, just about the same age as me/her. So now this guy de-handcuffs me/her because I/she am/is going to have to escape! But just as I'm/she's about to get off the bed the Leader comes in with three guys behind him and pushes me back down.

He grabs my hands and starts to tie them with rope because the guy still had the handcuffs. But, he had expected this and we both took out fishing line and started tying up his hands. But this guy was having trouble tying his hands and so he ended up just tying one of his fingers, which didn't help.... And then, he was tied to the bed and I was free  so I jumped out the window.

Yeah, and then the dream ended. And that's pretty much it. It was a weird dream because I almost got eaten. It was a weirder dream because I almost got eaten by Mucinex freaks and it was creepy because... well, HELLO? Have you seen those creeps? **shiver**

The ice cream man does not deserve to live.

Me: Ahhh! I didn't even have time to get my money!! DADDY KILL 'IM!!
Dad: }:) Okay. *malicious laughter*

Dad: An A-K47 will take him right out! *kch-kch BLAM* Or maybe we will wait until he comes around again.... mwahahaha... *pulls out a grenade, takes out the pin and holds the trigger down, waiting with an evilish smirk...* Go ahead, pass by. I dare you... }:)
Dad: Or maybe I will throw scissors at his windshield.
Me: But daddy, that doesn't cause explosions...
Dad: What about a tree? };)

Police officer: Excuse me, sir? Why are there fifteen  ice cream trucks blown up in front of your house?
Dad: They had engine problems *more malicious laughter*

Graci: LIAR! I used it this morning!
Dad: Don't call me a liar I'll hit you with an ice cream truck. *malicious chuckling is heard*

Dad: What's better than smelling cooking bacon? Eating it with toothpicks in itty bitty little pieces *evil chuckling*
Me: *giggles*
Dad: And my daughter laughs. She has the making for an evil villain... An evil, ice cream truck destroyer! Mwahahahahahaha. It takes a special person. A special person to destroy the twisted ice cream man... }:)

Dad: "The bacon was cooked,
          By the griddle with care
          In hopes that toothpicks
          Soon would be there."

Dad: *talking to our dog* Sadie, do you want to chase the ice cream man? He comes in thirty-one different flavors. Ahahahaha!!

Police man: What happened when the truck rolled over?
Dad: Thirty-one flavors became one... SPLONGEBLOB

Graci: Hey, is this Ashlyn?
Dad: Hey is this Ashlyn? Do you wanna buy an ice cream truck? }:) We have one for sale... *malicious laughter*

Dad: We can give it to her, but it only has one flavor. Splongeblob, mixed with a little bit of Spiderman, and topped with fudge, fudge push-pops.

Graci: Answer me so I can stop dying.
Dad: You're not dying. The ice cream man is dying. Look at him. Look at him run for his life... but it's not working because he's stuck in the Splongeblob! *evil laughter*

Dad: *has a revelation* You know what we could do?
Me: What?
Dad: We could make exploding tulips.
Me: Tulips, like the flower?
Dad: Yes.
Me: And do what with them?
Dad: Throw them at the ice cream truck. Mwahahahahaha!!

If I were paid for wearing pants, I would be a rich man...

-Mr. Matlak

The Firelight - Candle

I had a dream last night.

In this dream, I received a box. Within this box were two books. A semi-purple book and a sandy-gold book. I chose to look at the sandy-gold book. In blue pen, in the center of the book cover, was written - The Firelight- -Candle- It was in handwriting, but also seemingly printed on the cover.

I chose to do as anyone would do. I started in the middle. I was able to read the first few sentences before my mind went into movie mode. This is where I learned that there were three main characters. Grant, a tall, sandy haired man, similar to Tallahassee from Zombieland, if you're familiar with him, Steel, a seven year old boy with short brown hair, and a bubblegum pink alien I have thus decided to name Yakka. He looks like someone took bubblegum and stretched it out. They were in an air duct.

When Steel pushed the metal grate out I realized that they were just outside a nursery for little baby aliens. Yeah. That was surprising...

So I guess my question is, if anybody's ever read a book with a castle and a bubblegum pink lanky alien in it. That has some major plot idea centered around a castle.

A little bit of what Yakka would look like.
