Be Free

The world was not meant to be walked through someone else's footsteps.
If you only ever look at the world from another person's perspective you'll only see what's already been seen.
Just because you've watched the snow fall from the sky for twenty plus years doesn't make the first snowfall any less magical.
Just because gardening has been explained to you scientifically doesn't make the first bloom of the season any less important.
People see what they've been taught to see and don't look any further.
But if we never explore past our own backyards we'll never see any of the wonders the world has to offer.  Experience things for yourself and breathe in the air every day because the earth is constantly changing and no two days are the same.
You're never going to be able to go back to who you used to be, so accept who you are.
Live life the the fullest because you never know which day will be your last.
It's not worth it to refuse yourself the simple pleasures.
Stop and smell the flowers, so what if you're late for work?
The imprint that you leave here isn't going to be a perfect attendance record.
It's going to be the smiles and the laughs and the tears and sorrow.
It's going to be the impact that you've had on the people around you.
It's going to be the standard that you set one bar higher for everyone behind you.
It's going to be the memories left for generations.
If you live your life following someone else's footsteps you'll never make your own, and if you never make your own path it's as though you never left your home anyways.
Living in another person's shadow only allows for the boundaries of their own self-expression,
But your life can be endless and filled with infinite expansions on who you are.
You just have to break free of the mold.
You just have to live a life not led by a leader.
You just have to be your own leader.
Just be free.
